Consider this day 1 of our behind the scenes look at why and how we're building Tumult.
It's really in medias res, because we've been working on this concept in one form or another for years now. If you want to hear the long version of why we got started, check out our prior post. Otherwise, I'm going to jump right into what we're building today.
Our goal over the next week or so is to get the marketing website polished enough to start sharing. At this point it's live on the internet, but just in a pretty basic form. I needed to hit the "publish" button the other week just for the sake of my own sanity, to see the progress.
We've been building the marketing site (www.trytumult.com) with Webflow. It's a pretty neat tool for anyone with remedial website design skills and a lack of patience to write code. Also, for anyone OCD enough that the stock website builders like Wix and Squarespace won't cut it. (I check both boxes).
The main goal today and tomorrow is to get the images polished and then copy edit the site. Fingers crossed by the end of the week I'll be able to place some ads on Google. The app won't be live yet, but sign up for email updates will be.
